Die-cast aluminum generally contains a high silicon content, the anodized film is dark, it is impossible to get a colorless and transparent oxide film, with the increase of silicon content, the color of the anodized film from light gray to dark gray to black gray. Therefore, cast aluminum alloy is not suitable for anodizing.
 
For aluminum-silicon alloy, aluminum-silicon copper alloy, as the name suggests, in addition to aluminum, silicon and copper are the main components; Under normal circumstances, the silicon content is between 6-12%, which mainly plays the role of improving the fluidity of alloy liquid and reducing the shrinkage porosity; The copper content is only second, which mainly plays the role of strengthening strength and tensile force; The iron content is usually between 0.7-1.2%, within this ratio, the demoulding effect of the workpiece is better; Through its composition, it can be seen that such alloys are impossible to oxidize color, even if desiliconization is used, it is difficult to achieve the ideal effect. And aluminum-silicon alloy or aluminum alloy with higher copper content, oxide film is more difficult to generate, and the generated film is dark, gray, poor luster.
