On July 9, 2023, the "Establishment Conference of the Spacecraft Structural Materials and Application Professional Committee of the Chinese Non-ferrous Metals Society and the first academic conference of the Spacecraft Structural Materials and Application Professional Committee" hosted by the Chinese Non-Ferrous Metals Society and hosted by the Beijing Space Vehicle Overall Design Department was held in Beijing. The conference invited more than 60 experts and scholars from more than 20 domestic universities, institutes and enterprises to participate.

During the break of the meeting, the experts visited the Operation support Center of the Space Station and the Exhibition Center of the Fifth Courtyard, gained an in-depth understanding of the operation of China's space station and the development history of China's space industry, and expressed sincere admiration for the development history and achievements of China's space industry.
