Yuefeng Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. has witnessed the whole process of China's reform and opening up since its establishment in 1989. The company takes the industry as its responsibility, takes "focusing on industry, contributing to society" as its mission, and focuses on industry and development. It has grown from a small metal processing plant to an international high-end aluminum alloy new material enterprise.
In 2018, under the extremely difficult circumstances of breaking the capital chain and serious debt crisis, the company transferred 500,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum capacity to Sichuan in accordance with the national industrial policy and Jiangsu Province electrolytic aluminum industry planning, and applied for bailout support from the government. The Party committee and government of Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province attached great importance to helping the enterprise to solve difficulties, completed the judicial reorganization in a market-oriented and law-based way, and the reorganized Yuefeng Aluminum was "reborn". In 2022, the enterprise achieved operating revenue of 17.5 billion yuan, tax payment of 820 million yuan, and export earnings of 1.2 billion dollars. At the same time, the 500,000 tons of hydropower aluminum capacity transfer project we built in Sichuan achieved production and efficiency, established a new green and low-carbon advantage, and became a model project for the western transfer of China's aluminum industry.
The CPC Central Committee actively thinks of private enterprises and private entrepreneurs, and private enterprises should create value and make more contributions to society. For decades, Yuefeng Aluminum has been a leading enterprise supporting the development of Gongyi. Since its listing in 2002, it has paid 7.3 billion yuan in taxes and provided more than 13,000 jobs for the society. In the past three years, Yuefeng Aluminum has earned about 2.6 billion dollars in cumulative export earnings. It has not only realized that all employees are not laid off, but also hired more than 800 college students and invested more than 10 million yuan to support public welfare undertakings.
