Yuefeng Aluminum Group obtained ASI performance standard re-certification

Aluminum Management Initiative ASI announced that Yuefeng Aluminum Group's Yuefeng Aluminum Profile Factory Co., LTD., located in Zhouzhuang Industrial Zone, Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, China, manufacturing aluminum extruded profiles, has been re-certified by ASI performance Standard V3.
All recertification performed after June 1, 2023, complies with the 2022 version of the standard. As a result, the company has successfully transitioned this certification to ASI's updated version V3 performance standard for 2022.
ASI is a non-profit program dedicated to the development and certification of standards for the aluminum value chain. ASI's vision is to maximise aluminium's contribution to a sustainable society. Our mission is to identify and collaborate to promote the responsible production, responsible sourcing and corporate governance of aluminum. Central to ASI certification is the review of two voluntary standards: the ASI Performance Standard and the ASI Chain of Custody Standard. The ASI Performance Standards define environmental, social and governance principles and standards to address sustainability issues in the aluminium value chain. The ASI Chain of Custody (CoC) standard complements ASI's performance standards and is voluntarily certified for ASI members. The CoC standard sets chain-of-custody requirements for the flow of aluminum materials, including ASI aluminum products that are produced through the value chain and applied to different downstream areas after processing. By implementing ASI's CoC standards, a link is established between the supply chain under ASI performance standards and the products produced by ASI entities to advance sustainability across the aluminium value chain.
ASI currently has nearly 330 participants worldwide, including representative manufacturers of bauxite mining, alumina refining, aluminum smelting, semi-finished product manufacturing, aluminum products, component manufacturing, consumer and commercial products (including the automotive industry, construction and packaging), as well as selected trade associations and other supporters.
