Recently, it was learned from the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technical Cooperation that Yuefeng Aluminum participated in the "Product carbon Footprint Evaluation Guide Alumina" (T/CIET 266-2023) group standard was officially released. The standard includes eight aspects such as product carbon footprint scope definition, evaluation process, accounting method and evaluation report, and fills the gap in the evaluation process and accounting of the carbon footprint of China's alumina industry.

The standard is compiled on the basis of summarizing and refining the current successful experience, and the release and implementation of the standard provides a guiding method for the evaluation of the carbon footprint of alumina products, and clarifies the evaluation boundary and calculation method.
