From April 25 to 26, the "Aluminum Alloy Material Digital Research and Development Ecological Construction Academic Exchange Meeting and Science and Technology Strategy Consultation Closed-door Meeting" was held in Changping Future Science City, Beijing, sponsored by Chinalco Group High-end Manufacturing Co., LTD., and jointly organized by Chinalco Materials Institute and Chinalco Group Simulation Technology Field Technology Center. More than 60 academicians, experts and scholars from well-known universities and enterprises at home and abroad gathered together to deeply discuss the ecological construction scheme of material digital research and development, share successful construction experience, and promote the improvement of scientific research and innovation ability.
 
Li Yong first introduced the basic situation of Chinalco high-end manufacturing from the aspects of organizational structure, stock composition, founding history and so on. He pointed out that the construction of digital research and development platform of Chinalco Group is the internal driving force to enhance scientific and technological innovation, which is crucial to improving the digital intelligence level of Chinalco Group, and is a key measure to improve the core competitiveness of Chinalco Group and its high-end manufacturing.
 
Ten experts gave academic presentations
 
Academician Xie Jianxin and other 10 well-known experts from enterprises, universities and research institutes were invited to make special academic reports. A summit forum was held on the topic of "Ecological Construction of digital research and development of aluminum alloy materials". Academician Xie Jianxin introduced the concepts and interrelationships of deep learning, presentation learning, machine learning and artificial intelligence in detail, and introduced the digital intelligent research and development and manufacturing by combining theories with practical cases. Other experts shared cutting-edge technologies and research achievements of various ecological elements of digital research and development, focusing on materials big data technology, database and data standard construction, integrated computing, materials high throughput technology and other technologies.
 
At the meeting, more than 20 experts exchanged experiences and in-depth discussions on topics such as "Construction Ideas of Aluminum digital R&D platform", "independent development of multi-scale software for material and process design", "data standards, quality, rights confirmation, sharing, exchange, island and self-decision model", shared successful experiences, pointed out difficulties in construction, and offered suggestions for the construction of aluminum digital R&D platform.
