Yuefeng Aluminum Technology learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that in order to guide China's new energy vehicle industry through the critical period of "climbing over the hill" smoothly, the "New Energy vehicle Industry Development Plan (2021-2035)" (hereinafter referred to as "the Plan") will be issued and implemented as soon as possible.
Xin Guobin, vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said at the consultation committee meeting of the "Planning" held on the 7th that the compilation of the "Planning" adheres to the principle of opening the door and opening to the outside world, and has extensively solicited opinions from all walks of life. We will improve support policies, actively stabilize and expand the consumption of new energy vehicles, and unswervingly promote the sustained and healthy development of the industry.
According to the draft of the Plan, by 2025, the market competitiveness of new energy vehicles will be significantly improved, major breakthroughs have been made in key technologies such as power batteries, drive motors, and on-board operating systems, and new car sales of new energy vehicles account for about 25%. Intelligent network-connected cars account for 30% of new car sales, and highly self-driving intelligent network-connected cars can be commercialized in limited areas and specific scenarios.
Wan Gang, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, and director of the Planning Advisory Committee, said at the meeting that in order to achieve the development goals of the new energy vehicle industry put forward in the Plan, efforts should be made to do a good job in the following four aspects: first, to expand the industrial scale and share in the adjustment of market structure; second, to improve product performance and quality in integrated innovation; third, to reduce costs and increase efficiency in open competition. The fourth is to expand market application in rural revitalization.
With regard to "expanding market application in rural revitalization," Cui Dongshu, secretary general of the National passenger vehicle Market Information Association, said: "encouraging electric vehicles to go to the countryside will help enhance the development of the new energy vehicle industry and promote the improvement of the rural ecological environment. At the same time, it will also improve the competitive relationship between electric vehicles and other models such as low-speed electric vehicles, and promote the healthy and rapid development of China's new energy vehicle industry as a whole."
China needs to give more policy support to promote the sustainable development of its own brand of new energy vehicles. In particular, subsidies for mini electric vehicles and the use of electric vehicles need to be further strengthened. " Cui Dongshu said.
