Australia has postponed the release of the basic facts report and final ruling recommendations for the sunset review of the anti-dumping and countervailing duties on aluminum profiles against China

On July 16, 2025, the Australian Anti-dumping Commission issued Notice No. 2025/067, stating that it would postpone the release of the basic facts report and the final ruling recommendation on the anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigation of Aluminium Extrusions imported from China. The Australian Anti-dumping Commission is expected to complete the basic facts report of this investigation no later than July 21, 2025, and submit the final ruling report to the Minister for Industry and Science of Australia no later than September 15, 2025.
On June 24, 2009, Australia initiated anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations into aluminium profiles imported from China. On October 28, 2010, Australia made a positive final ruling on this case.
On April 24, 2015, the Australian anti-Dumping Commission issued Notice No. 2015/48, initiating the first sunset review investigation of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on aluminum profiles imported from China. On October 20, 2015, the Australian anti-Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2015/125, making a positive final ruling on the sunset review of this case. On February 13, 2020, the Australian anti-Dumping Commission issued Notice No. 2020/017, initiating the second sunset review investigation of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on aluminum profiles imported from China. On October 12, 2020, the Australian anti-Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2020/103, making a positive final ruling on the sunset review of this case. On November 8, 2024, the Australian anti-Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2024/085, stating that it had initiated the third anti-dumping and countervailing duty sunset review investigation on aluminum profiles imported from China at the request of domestic Australian enterprise CapralLimited. The Australian customs codes of the involved products are 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, and 7610.10. 00.12 and 7610.90.00.13.
