Australia made a double reverse interim review final ruling on China aluminum profiles

On September 22, 2023, the Australian Antidumping Commission issued Notice No. 2023/051, saying that the Australian Minister of Industry and Science and Technology passed the Australian Antidumping Commission on imports from China's Aluminium Extrusions initiated anti-dumping and countervailing interim review final recommendations. It is decided to impose anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties on the products involved (see the attached table), and the measures will take effect from the date of the announcement.
 
On June 24, 2009, Australia launched an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation into imports of aluminium profiles from China. On October 28, 2010, Australia made a positive final ruling on the case, ruling that the dumping margin of the products involved was 2.7% to 25.7%, and the subsidy margin was 3.8% to 18.4%. On April 14, 2014, the Australian Anti-dumping Commission issued Notice No. 2014/31, launched an anti-circumvention investigation on aluminum profiles imported from China, and examined whether the products involved were sold at a loss to avoid anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties. On February 19, 2015, the Australian Anti-dumping Commission issued Notice No. 2015/17, making a positive final ruling on the case, ruling that Rongyang Aluminum (China) Limited (PanAsia Aluminium (China) Limited) exported to Australia there is a circumvention of aluminum profiles, The dumping margin of the products involved is 57.6%, the subsidy margin is 8.7%, and the combined effective tax rate of dumping and subsidy is 57.6%. Australia launched two anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigations on Chinese aluminum profiles on April 24, 2015 and February 13, 2020, respectively, and made a positive final ruling on sunset review on October 20, 2015 and October 16, 2020.
 
On August 8, 2022, the Australian Anti-dumping Commission issued Notice No. 202/081, saying that in response to the application submitted by domestic enterprises Capral Limited, the anti-dumping and countervailing interim review investigation was launched on aluminum profiles imported from China. The companies involved do not include Guangdong Jiangsheng Aluminium Co Ltd and Guangdong (Zhongya Aluminium Company Ltd). The Australian Customs codes of the products involved are 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10. 00.12 and 7610.90.00.13.
