Yuefeng Aluminum Technology won the second prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award in 2022

Recently, the winning projects of the 2022 Guangdong Science and Technology Award were officially announced. Yuefeng Aluminum Technology, as the first completed unit, won the second prize of Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Award for the achievement of "Preparation technology and application of high-strength aluminum alloy extrusion material for the appearance structure of electronic products". This honor reflects the scientific and technological innovation spirit of Yuefeng Aluminum Technology focusing on key core technology research and accelerating the industrialization of achievements.
Aluminum alloy is widely used in the appearance of smart phones, tablets, laptops, smart watches, e-readers and other electronic products structural parts, such as shell, backplane, frame, frame and so on. In order to meet the development needs of electronic products that are larger, thinner, lighter and more beautiful, the project has made a major breakthrough by studying the composition optimization of high-strength aluminum alloy, the recrystallization structure control of extrusion materials, and the design and manufacture of extrusion molds. It has developed high-strength aluminum alloy extrusion materials with excellent oxidation properties for the appearance structure of electronic products. The mass production and sales of high strength aluminum alloy extrusion materials have been realized, and remarkable economic and social benefits have been achieved.
