Colombia made a final anti-dumping ruling on China aluminum extrusions

On September 26, 2024, Colombia issued Notice No. 288 in its official Gazette, making a final anti-dumping ruling on aluminum extruded materials originating in China, deciding to implement anti-dumping measures in the form of a minimum price, when the customs clearance FOB (FOB) of the imported products involved is lower than the minimum price 4.13 US dollars/kg (net weight), An anti-dumping duty equivalent to the difference between the minimum price and the declaration price will be imposed; No anti-dumping duties will be imposed when the declared FOB price of the product in question is higher than the minimum price of US $4.13 / kg (net weight). The measures shall take effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall be valid for three years. The Colombian tax codes of the products in question are 7604.21.00.00, 7604.29.10.00, 7604.29.20.00 and 7608.20.00.00.
On December 14, 2023, Colombia launched an anti-dumping investigation on aluminum extrusions originating in China. On April 18, 2024, Colombia Trade made a preliminary ruling on the case and made a preliminary ruling to continue the anti-dumping investigation without imposing provisional anti-dumping duties.
