Emirates Global Aluminium has extended its solar aluminium agreement with Hyundai Mobis

According to foreign media reports, Global Aluminium (EGA) of the United Arab Emirates will increase the supply of CelestiAL solar aluminium to the automotive parts manufacturer Hyundai Mobis. According to the new agreement, the Celestial solar aluminium supplied by EGA to Hyundai Mobis will increase from 8,000 tons this year to 15,000 tons by 2026. EGA and Mobis also discussed long-term agreements beyond 2026 to increase the supply of value-added products such as primary casting alloys and recycled aluminum, and will collaborate on the development of new specialized alloys for the automotive industry.
EGA began supplying aluminium to Hyundai Mobis in 2015 and currently supplies a total of 66,000 tons of metal to it every year.
In 2024, the output of Celestial solar aluminum increased by 27% to 80,000 tons, including 8,000 tons of Celestial R aluminum with further added recycled materials.
