From January to July, the total profit of all large-scale industrial enterprises across the country reached 4,582.06 billion yuan, up by 17.6% year-on-year.
From January to July, the mining industry achieved a total profit of 666.05 billion yuan, up by 34.9%; the manufacturing industry achieved a total profit of 3,437.60 billion yuan, up by 18.8%; the power, heat, gas and water production and supply industry achieved a total profit of 478.42 billion yuan, down by 5.8%.
From January to July, the profits of the non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 91.8%, the coal mining and washing industry increased by 50.4%, the power, heat and steam production and supply industry decreased by 8.0%, the food processing industry decreased by 12.3%, the automobile manufacturing industry decreased by 20.4%, the black metal smelting and rolling processing industry decreased by 51.2%, and the petroleum, coal and other fuel processing industry turned from loss to profit.
