According to foreign media reports, in the first half of 2026, the total amount of unprocessed aluminum imported by the United States was 1.68 million tons, of which 16.96% came from the United Arab Emirates.
In the first half of 2026, the United Arab Emirates exported 285,000 tons of unprocessed aluminum to the United States. In the first half of 2025, the export volume was 316,000 tons, a decrease of 9.8%, mainly due to the temporary suspension of production at Al Taweelah Smelting Plant of Global Aluminum Company (EGA) for maintenance and repair.
