Kazakhstan's production of alumina and unwrought pressed aluminum increased slightly in July

According to data released by Kazakhstan's statistics agency on Thursday, the country's refined copper production in the January-July period of 2024 increased by 17.1% year-on-year to 273,423 tons; Refined zinc production increased 4.3% year-on-year to 161,314 tonnes; Alumina and unwrought pressed aluminum production was 1,056,521 tons, an increase of 12.2%. In July 2024, refined copper production increased by 18.2% year-on-year to 38,929 tonnes; Refined zinc production increased 15.1% year-on-year to 24,000 tonnes; Alumina and unwrought pressed aluminum production was 150,421 tons, an increase of 1.2%.
