KPS Capital Partners plans to sell the aluminum extrusion company Metra

According to foreign media reports, the private equity firm KPS Capital Partners is preparing to sell the aluminum extrusion company Metra to the Polish aluminum group Grupa Kęty, at a transaction price of 645 million euros (745 million US dollars).
In July 2021, KPS acquired Metra and over the next five years, it reshaped its business through acquisitions, capacity investment, and expansion into new markets.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027 and still requires customary approvals.
Grupa Kęty has a solid position in the aluminum extrusion, construction, and shading systems, as well as soft packaging sectors.
Metra is headquartered in Rodengo Saiano, Italy, and has 9 manufacturing plants in Europe and North America. Its extruded aluminum profiles serve the railway, industrial, and construction markets.
