On December 10, 2025, Mericen Die Casting Technology LLC—the U.S. manufacturing facility of Mericen Technology, a subsidiary of Mericen Holdings Co., Ltd. (an honorary president unit of the Beijing-Huanggang Enterprise Chamber of Commerce)—held a successful grand opening and commissioning ceremony in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
The event was attended by Oklahoma State Representative Jim Olsen, Sallisaw Mayor Ernie Martens, Cherokee Nation Deputy Principal Chief Bryan Warner, customer representatives, Mericen Technology Chairman Yu Yajun, General Manager of the U.S. Plant Nicholas DeGrands, and Director of Overseas Business Division Zhang Zhengsen. Government officials, company executives, partners, and all employees of the U.S. plant gathered to witness this pivotal milestone in the facility’s development journey.
As Mericen Group’s first overseas intelligent high-pressure die-casting factory, the U.S. plant focuses on the R&D, production, and global distribution of high-precision aluminum die-cast components. It integrates Mericen’s most advanced smart manufacturing technologies, digital management systems, and rigorous quality control standards to deliver cutting-edge solutions for sectors including new energy vehicles, telecommunications, energy storage, artificial intelligence (AI), and other industrial applications.
According to the plant’s capacity rollout plan, Phase I will primarily support R&D and manufacturing for new energy vehicles and energy storage business units. Serving as a strategic beachhead for Mericen’s global expansion, the facility aims to empower industries through technology and foster collaborative ecosystems. Leveraging its end-to-end intelligent manufacturing capabilities, the plant is positioned to become a benchmark for smart manufacturing within the Mericen Group—delivering high-quality products and services to global customers and advancing China’s die-casting industry onto the world stage.
