Mexican Economy Minister: There is no Sino-Mexican steel and aluminum "triangle trade" in Mexico

Mexican Economy Minister Raquel Buenrostro recently said that there is no Sino-Mexican steel and aluminum "triangle trade" in Mexico.
Buenrostro made the above remarks when meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Mexico Zhang Run in the capital Mexico City on the 18th. Buenrostro said that as a sovereign country, Mexico always adheres to economic and trade policies that benefit the people and welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest in Mexico. The economic incentive measures introduced in Mexico will strengthen the industrial chain and serve the national industrial policy.
Zhang said that the practical economic and trade cooperation between China and Mexico is a matter between the two sovereign countries and a normal business activity carried out by enterprises of the two sides based on international rules and market principles. China is firmly opposed to the US repeatedly smears China on the so-called "triangular trade" in steel and aluminum, and openly puts pressure on Mexico for the operation of Chinese electric vehicle companies in Mexico.
The so-called "triangular trade" of steel and aluminum by the United States refers to the indirect export of Chinese steel and aluminum products to the United States through third countries.
On the 19th of this month, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on the recent remarks of the US side concerning China's steel and aluminum industries and shipbuilding industry that the relevant remarks of the US side are completely inconsistent with the facts, damage China-Us economic and trade relations and run counter to the consensus reached at the San Francisco meeting between the two heads of state. China is seriously concerned about and strongly dissatisfied with this, and will take all necessary measures to resolutely safeguard its own rights and interests.
