Novelis' new aluminum recycling and rolling plant produces the first aluminum coil

According to foreign media reports, recently, the cold rolling machine of Novelis' aluminum recycling and rolling plant in Bay Minette, Alabama, USA, produced the first aluminum coil. The investment of this factory amounts to 5 billion US dollars.
The Bay Minette plant is the first fully integrated aluminum recycling and rolling plant built in the United States in the past 40 years. After full production, this plant will add 600,000 tons of rolled aluminum production capacity annually, serving the beverage packaging, automotive and special product markets. The plant also includes a recycling center, which can process over 15 billion used beverage cans annually.
