The die-cast aluminum alloy ZL111 of Yuefeng Aluminum Alloy Division was successfully produced on the wheel line at one time
September 4, 2024
On September 1, the ZL111 die-cast aluminum alloy of Yuefeng Aluminum Alloy Division was successfully produced at one time on the belt line, which added new impetus to the company's production, quality and increment, opened a new chapter in the production of die-cast alloy on the belt line, and laid a solid foundation for the company to achieve diversified development, reuse of recycled aluminum resources and increase production and efficiency.
It is reported that ZL111 is composed of high silicon, high copper, high manganese, high iron alloy, belonging to the die-cast aluminum alloy series, with high strength and high hardness characteristics, and has a good tolerance for the reuse of complex components of recycled aluminum resources. At present, the ZL111 alloy on the market is produced by iron mold ingot, and the production equipment is old, the production efficiency is low, and the quality level is also low. According to the current situation of the market, the alloy Division set up a research group to discuss, formulate technical and production plans, adopt a cascade of decreasing water to ensure the billet forming, strengthen the cooling at the mold end of the crystallization wheel to ensure the continuous billet, reduce the straightening cooling to ensure the flexibility of the billet, and ensure the normal shear of the roller. Through the team's technical demonstration, safety demonstration, parameter demonstration, collaborative research, with fine operations, to achieve the first phase of 100 tons of orders in the belt line one-time production success. The production of die-casting alloy on the belt breaks through the traditional production mode of iron mold ingot, expands and broadens the path for the diversified development of the belt products and recycled aluminum products, and improves the casting level and overall quality of the die-casting alloy.
In the next step, the Alloys Division will focus on customer needs and continuous improvement to further improve customer satisfaction.
