The first phase of the distributed rooftop photovoltaic project of Yuefeng Aluminum Industry Company has been successfully connected to the grid for power generation

On April 30th, the first phase of the 10MW distributed photovoltaic project of Yuefeng Aluminum Industry Company, with a capacity of 4.45MW, was successfully accepted and connected to the grid for power generation.
As the first large-scale industrial and commercial distributed photovoltaic project in Ganmei Industrial Park and also the largest single industrial and commercial distributed photovoltaic project that has been completed in Meishan City, its successful grid connection provides replicable and scalable practical experience for the green upgrading of traditional industries in the region, further strengthening the leading effect of the low-carbon transformation of the industrial chain. After the project is fully completed and put into operation, it is expected to provide an average of 8 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, which is equivalent to saving 1,000 tons of standard coal and reducing 4,500 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. It is also expected to generate 8,000 green power certificates annually, bringing significant environmental and economic benefits to the enterprise.
As an important aluminum processing enterprise in Jiangsu Province, Yuefeng Aluminum has always adhered to the concept of green development and continuously made efforts in the field of energy conservation and carbon reduction. The implementation of distributed photovoltaic projects not only effectively reduces the energy costs of enterprises, but also opens up new growth points of benefits through green power trading. This innovative practice has fully verified the feasible path for the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing industries.
At present, Yuefeng Aluminum is accelerating the construction of the second phase of the project and is expected to achieve full capacity operation of 10MW within this year. In the future, Yuefeng Aluminum will conduct in-depth research on the application of new energy storage technologies and the construction plans of virtual power plants, continuously improve energy utilization efficiency, optimize energy consumption structure, contribute the strength of the rising Star to achieving the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and demonstrate the responsibility and commitment of an aluminum industrial enterprise in the new era.
