According to CCTV News, on August 19 local time, the US Department of Commerce announced that 407 product categories would be included in the steel and aluminum tariff list, with an applicable tariff rate of 50%. The Ministry of Commerce stated that the newly added list covers a wide range of products, including wind turbines and their components, mobile cranes, railway vehicles, furniture, compressors and pump equipment, and hundreds of others.
