Turkey's anti-dumping measures against China's aluminum foil are about to expire

On July 23, 2024, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey issued Notice No. 2024/22, stating that aluminum foil originating in China (Turkish: Kal f nl f f 0,2 mm 'yi gecmeyen, haddelenmi fakat daha ileri bir i leme tabi tutulmam aluminyumdan mesnetsiz yapraklar ve eritler) the anti-dumping measures will expire on January 4, 2025, An interested party may file an application for sunset review investigation. The Turkish tax codes of the products involved are 7607.11 and 7607.19.
On December 21, 2013, Turkey launched an anti-dumping investigation on aluminum foil originating in China. On July 26, 2014, Turkey made a final ruling on the case. Since then, Turkey has conducted a sunset review, which issued a positive ruling and extended the tax period on January 4, 2020.
