Recently, according to the list of national enterprise technology Centers for 2024 (the 31st batch) jointly released by five ministries and commissions including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Finance, the Yuefeng Aluminum Technology Center made the list, becoming the only unit selected in the aluminum industry in this batch.
As the "top of the pyramid" certification in China's field of scientific and technological innovation, the National Enterprise Technology Center is currently one of the highest-level and most influential technological innovation platforms in the country. The recognition conditions are strict and require a comprehensive assessment of indicators such as the enterprise's innovation funds, innovation talents, technological accumulation, innovation platforms, technological output and innovation benefits. The recognition of Yuefeng Aluminum this time marks an important breakthrough for the enterprise in the construction of a scientific and technological innovation system.
According to public data, since the "14th Five-Year Plan", Yuefeng Aluminum has invested a total of 6.58 billion yuan in research and development, with its R&D intensity remaining stable at 3.5%, which is higher than the average level of the non-ferrous metals industry. By integrating scientific research resources such as academicians and experts' workstations and key laboratories, Yuefeng Aluminum has established 30 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research platforms, including the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Aluminum-based New Materials, forming a complete innovation chain of "basic research - application development - industrial transformation".
In terms of patent layout and technological achievements, Yuefeng Aluminum has accumulated 742 national authorized patents, including 20 international patents. Among the 28 scientific and technological achievements completed in the past three years, 6 have been appraised as reaching the international leading level and 17 have reached the international advanced level. The related achievements have successively won 33 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology progress awards and 26 industry science and technology awards, and have won the highest honor in the field of Chinese patents - the China Patent Excellence Award - three times.
