Recently, Yuefeng Aluminum has reached in-depth cooperation with several well-known domestic battery energy storage manufacturers, jointly successfully developing high-precision battery shell products that meet strict standards, marking an important technological breakthrough for the company in the field of new energy battery materials.
With the continuous expansion of the new energy market, Yuefeng Aluminum has listed its high-precision battery shell series products as a strategic development priority. As a key component of battery energy storage systems, this product has extremely high requirements for precision, strength and safety. The R&D team faced huge challenges in the early stage of the project, especially in the extrusion molding process, where there was a technical bottleneck where high precision, large core heads and thin wall thickness were difficult to balance.
To overcome the challenges, the Materials Division quickly formed a cross-departmental technical team, integrating professional forces from multiple fields such as mold design, materials science, and production processes. The technical team first relied on computer simulation analysis tools to conduct multiple rounds of optimization on the mold structure, size, and material. Eventually, they determined a mold solution that could maintain stability under high pressure and high temperature conditions.
In terms of process optimization, the team conducted systematic experiments, precisely regulated parameters such as extrusion speed, temperature and pressure, and gradually established a complete and temperature-controlled production process, achieving independent research and development throughout the entire process from mold design to manufacturing.
At present, the first batch of high-precision battery aluminum shell samples have passed the tests of cooperative manufacturers. All performance indicators have reached or exceeded industry standards and have been highly recognized by customers. This achievement has laid a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation between the two sides and also demonstrated that Yuefeng Aluminum's innovative R&D capabilities in the field of new energy materials have reached a new level.
