Yuefeng Aluminum Industry's High-End Electrical Wire Rod Continuous Casting and Continuous Rolling Phase I Project Commences Construction

On March 16th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the first phase of the high-end electrical wire rod continuous casting and continuous rolling project of Yuefeng Aluminum Industry was held. The total production capacity of this project is planned at 200,000 tons per year, and it will be constructed in two phases. The first phase has a production capacity of 100,000 tons per year and is scheduled to be completed by the end of December this year. The project is oriented towards "intelligentization, greenization and integration", relying on the company's existing high-quality electrolytic aluminum liquid resources to produce L3 and above series high-strength and high-conductivity aluminum alloy rods, with the proportion of high-end products exceeding 50%. The production line adopts the mature domestic 4+8 full two-roll rolling machine and tilting type melting and preservation furnace technology, with production efficiency and labor productivity reaching the industry benchmark level.
