Yuefeng Aluminum obtained the "Green electric Aluminum Product Evaluation Certificate"

On October 11, the company's 20,000 tons of "electrolytic primary aluminum liquid" successfully passed the certification of the Green Product Evaluation Center of the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association and obtained the "Green Aluminum Product Evaluation Certificate", marking the company's electrolytic primary aluminum liquid officially affixed the "green aluminum" label.
In December 2022, according to the requirements of the low-carbon development strategy of the aluminum industry and the current market demand, the China Non-ferrous Metal Green Product Evaluation Center first proposed the new concept of green electric aluminum in the group standard "Green electric Aluminum Evaluation and Trading Guidelines". That is, electrolytic aluminum products produced by using green electricity (electricity converted from energy such as wind, solar, water, geothermal energy, ocean energy, and biomass energy), including electrolytic primary aluminum liquid and aluminum ingots for remelting. Electrolytic aluminum as a high power consumption industry, the power cost accounts for about 40% of the total cost. In order to break through the bottleneck of development, only reduce energy consumption and increase production, and the key competitiveness of green development.
In July 2024, the company officially submitted the green electric aluminum evaluation materials to the green electric aluminum evaluation platform, and successfully completed the evaluation of the company's 20,000 tons of electrolytic primary aluminum liquid green electric aluminum by uploading and reviewing the certification materials of the company's use of green electricity from January to June in 2024 and the company's comprehensive AC power consumption of liquid aluminum.
