Yuefeng Aluminum plans to expand its aluminum extrusion capacity to meet the growing demand for solar panels

According to media reports, Yuefeng Aluminum is currently working on expanding extrusion capacity at its plant in Wuxi to meet the growing demand for solar panels.
The new plant is expected to contribute 30,000 tons of annual capacity and focus on solar bezel manufacturing, said Wang Weiyou, CEO of the company.
Yuefeng Aluminum currently has two extrusion plants, one is Wuxi plant, with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons; Another factory is located in Foshan, Guangdong Province, China, with an annual capacity of 160,000 tons.
Yuefeng Aluminum extrusion plant's products are mainly used in automotive, construction, electronics and other commercial sectors.
In the company's 2022 annual report, Yuefeng said its China operations have been focused on exploring new applications in the electric vehicle and renewable energy sectors, which are the next frontier for aluminum demand.
