Yuefeng Aluminum Suzhou Nonferrous Metals Research Institute Co., Ltd. actively responded to the "3+4+4+4" scientific and technological innovation system requirements of Yuefeng Aluminum Group, closely focusing on the "four special strengths" strategic goals and the "Digitalized New Yuefeng Aluminum" construction direction. They successfully independently developed the seventh-generation aluminum electrolysis cell control system, achieving breakthroughs in three technologies: intelligent shell breaking, current distribution optimization, and online monitoring. Combined with new materials and energy balance algorithms, it significantly improved control accuracy and current efficiency, marking a new major breakthrough in China's core control technology for aluminum electrolysis.
 
Compared with the previous generation of products, the new generation of slot control system has achieved innovations in three core technical directions: Firstly, the intelligent shell-breaking system realizes precise control, effectively reducing the problems of alumina crust formation and uneven discharge; Secondly, the dynamic optimization technology for current distribution ensures uniform current distribution among all anodes of the electrolytic cell; Thirdly, the full-dimensional online monitoring system captures real-time parameters of the electrolytic cell operation. Particularly, the newly developed advanced material balance and energy balance algorithms have significantly enhanced the system's adaptive ability to complex working conditions.
 
Industrial application data shows that after adopting the seventh-generation slot control system, the control accuracy of alumina concentration in the electrolytic cell has significantly improved, and the operational stability of the electrolytic cell has been greatly enhanced. The current efficiency has achieved a breakthrough increase, directly reducing the power consumption of electrolytic aluminum production and bringing considerable economic benefits to the enterprise. Recently, this system has received 240 orders from a key enterprise in Xinjiang, and is about to realize large-scale industrial application.
