Yuefeng Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. has passed the ASI performance Standard V3 certification of the Aluminum Industry Management Initiative

The factory of Yuefeng Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. located in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, China, has successfully obtained the ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) certification. The certification scope covers the production business of aluminum alloy architectural profiles and aluminum alloy industrial profiles.
The Aluminium Industry Management Initiative (ASI) announced on July 30 that Yuefeng Aluminium Technology Co., Ltd. has passed the ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) certification. This enterprise specializes in the production of aluminum alloy architectural profiles and industrial profiles, with an annual output of approximately 140,000 tons. Its main production processes include surface treatments such as aluminum extrusion, oxidation/spraying/electrophoresis, as well as packaging procedures.
The ASI certification program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainable development standards initiative in the aluminum value chain. After years of revision, the ASI Performance Standard V3(2022) was launched in May 2022. Under the three pillars of sustainable development - environment, society and governance, 11 principles and 62 guidelines have been defined, aiming to address pressing sustainable development issues in the aluminum value chain, such as biodiversity, indigenous rights, circularity and greenhouse gas emissions. In 2023, the relevant standard documents were updated to Performance Standard V3.1 (2023) and Chain of Custody Standard V2.1 (2023) after minor improvements, mainly involving text editing, error correction and content clarification.
The independent third-party audit of Yuefeng Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. was completed by General Standards Technical Services Co., LTD. Page 5 of the summary audit report provides a complete list of the audit results, outlining the evidence for conformance items and minor non-conformities. This audit recorded 7 minor non-conformities, including: Criteria 4.1a Environmental Life Cycle Assessment, 4.4a-c Recycling and Reuse of End-of-Life Products (Material Conversion and other Manufacturing processes), 5.1a-b Disclosure of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Energy Use, 5.3a-e Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Plan, 5.4 Greenhouse Gas Emission Management, 9.8a Conflict Areas and High-Risk Areas (Strengthening Management System), and 10.8 a-c Work Time Management. During the validity period of the certification, Yuefeng Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. will implement a rectification action plan and verify it in subsequent audits.
