On the afternoon of June 7, the 2023 National Green Building Materials to the Countryside activity (Guangdong Station) Guangzhou Exhibition and the 11th Guangdong New Building Industrialization and prefabricated Building Exhibition was launched in Guangzhou. At the meeting, Yuefeng Aluminum Factory Group Co., Ltd. was selected as the first batch of Guangdong green building materials to the countryside activities warehousing enterprises, awarded the 2023 national green building materials to the countryside activities (Guangdong station) cooperation unit.
In the context of the implementation of the "double carbon" strategy, construction and building materials, as one of the main carriers of resources and energy consumption, have become the key areas to achieve emission reduction targets. This year is the "consumption boost year", as early as March, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and other six departments issued a notice to further promote green building materials to the countryside activities. Guangdong took the lead in responding, jointly carrying out the "Green building materials into thousands, create a better life together" green building materials to the countryside activities, guiding green building materials enterprises and products to go deep into county-level cities, boosting the building materials market, helping the construction of beautiful villages, and promoting the revitalization of rural industries.
