Yuefeng has passed both ASI performance standard and Chain of custody standard certification

The Aluminum Management Initiative (ASI) recently announced that Yuefeng Aluminum Co., Ltd. has been certified by both the ASI Performance Standard and the CoC Chain of Custody Standard. The plant is based on hydropower energy and has an annual capacity of 900,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum.
ASI certification is a comprehensive voluntary, sustainable standards initiative for the aluminium value chain, developed after extensive consultation with multiple stakeholders. The ASI Performance Standards set environmental, social and governance principles and guidelines for the aluminium value chain to address sustainability issues in the aluminium value chain. The standard includes 59 guidelines under the three pillars of sustainable development - governance, environment and society - covering key issues such as biodiversity, indigenous rights and greenhouse gas emissions. The ASI CoC standard specifies requirements regarding the production and processing of materials in different downstream sectors of the value chain and the creation of chains of custody. The implementation of ASI CoC standards links proven practices in successive steps of the supply chain (certified against ASI performance standards) to products produced by ASI-certified entities.
This independent third party certification is carried out by SGS Certification Services. Through ASI performance standard and chain of custody standard double certification, Yuefeng Aluminum Co., Ltd. fully demonstrated to the market and society the company's commitment to green, low-carbon and sustainable development, while further enhancing product competitiveness, providing a reliable guarantee for the development of quality customers and shining the "green business card" of enterprises.
