Yuefeng New Materials announced that based on its future strategic planning and the development needs of its main business, the company plans to have its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Yuefeng New Energy Technology Group Co., LTD., use its own funds of RMB 100 million to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, Anhui Yuefeng Aluminum-Plastic Film Technology Co., LTD., mainly engaged in aluminum-plastic film business. The registered capital will be paid in full step by step according to the progress of the business. Aluminum-plastic film is a key material for the packaging of pouch battery cells. The development of the new energy vehicle market and the increasing penetration rate of pouch power batteries have brought a broad market space for aluminum-plastic film products. Meanwhile, the development of solid-state battery technology and the acceleration of the industrialization process are expected to drive the demand for aluminum-plastic film to grow at an accelerated pace.
