China's exports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products fell 0.3% year-on-year in April

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, in April 2025, China exported 520,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, down 0.3% year-on-year; the cumulative exports from January to April were 1.88 million tons, down 5.7% year-on-year.
In April, China exported 260,000 tons of alumina, up 101.6% year-on-year; the cumulative exports from January to April were 960,000 tons, up 74.7% year-on-year.
In April, China imported 370,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, down 3.8% year-on-year; the cumulative imports from January to April were 1.32 million tons, down 11.4% year-on-year.
In April, China imported 20.68 million tons of aluminum ore and concentrate, up 45.4% year-on-year; the cumulative imports of aluminum ore and concentrate from January to April were 67.7 million tons, up 34.2% year-on-year.
