Two cold finishing mills of Yuefeng New Materials Company were put into production

Recently, the aluminum alloy plate and strip deep processing project (Phase I) of Yuefeng New Materials Company was officially put into production. The project mainly includes one 1650mm and one 2000mm cold finishing mills, and supporting equipment such as rewinding units, thick foil shears, annealing furnaces, grinders, and full oil recovery. The two cold finishing mills adopt the domestic advanced edge heating roller control system, equipped with plate shape (AFC) and thickness (AGC) automatic control systems, with a rolling speed of 20,000mm/second, and can roll the thinnest 0.05mm ultra-thin aluminum foil billet, reaching the international advanced level. In addition, both rolling mills are equipped with precision plate filters with a filtration accuracy of 1-3µm, which provides key guarantees for the production of high-end products such as food-grade packaging foil and power battery current collectors. At the same time, the annual cold rolling capacity has increased from 348,000 tons to 530,000 tons, and the proportion of cast and rolled coils exported has dropped from 45% to 25%, realizing the effective connection of cast and rolling capacity.
