On September 17th, in the context of the "Sea Development Conference for the Pan-Aluminum Component Manufacturing Base of Baise City towards ASEAN", the Baihe New Technology Zone successfully signed five aluminum processing and deep-processing projects, focusing on a total investment of about 2.6 billion yuan. The projects are aligned with the development direction of advanced manufacturing, with a particular emphasis on the layout of high-value-added products such as new energy precision aluminum profiles, electronic aluminum foil, high-performance aluminum-based new materials, copper-aluminum composite new materials, and wire and cable. After implementation, these projects will strengthen the high-end links of the aluminum industry chain in the zone and provide strong support for Baise's development strategy of basing itself locally, facing ASEAN, and serving the sea-oriented development.
As a key national development and opening-up experimental zone, Baihe is also enjoying preferential policies such as the local share of enterprise income tax for the China-ASEAN Industrial Cooperation Zone, including "five years of exemption and five years of halved tax". Experts and enterprise representatives attending the conference were all optimistic about the development prospects of Baise.
Director of the Baihe New Technology Zone Administration, Xie Xiaogang, believes that these projects have large investment scales, high industrial interconnections, and strong driving capabilities. They are significant achievements of the new zone in deepening opening-up cooperation,承接 industrial transfer， and expanding the market for ASEAN. The completion and opening of the Pinglu Canal has opened up a major transportation channel for Baise to reach the sea， and Baise is moving from the "southernmost point" to an open frontier. The Baihe New Technology Zone will seize the major opportunities of the Western Land-Sea New Channel and the Pinglu Canal Economic Belt construction， make good use of carriers such as the "Baise No.1" domestic and international trains and the Baihe Logistics Hub Port， build a complete industrial chain of "raw material input - production processing - export to the sea"， and promote the development of pan-aluminum component manufacturing towards the sea.
