From January to October, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size in Baotou increased by 22.9% year-on-year. From January to October, the added value of the city's aluminum industry increased by 6.6% year-on-year, driving the industries above designated size by 4.6 percentage points and contributing 1.0% to the industries above designated size. The output of aluminum was 496,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 78.0%, and the output of primary aluminum was 2.231 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.1%.
