Saudi Arabia expands investment in the aluminum industry

According to foreign media reports, Saudi Arabia has invested at least $12 billion in the aluminum industry and plans to double its investment in aluminum projects (including public and private investment), making it one of the world's top ten aluminum producers.
Primarily due to its growing role in areas such as renewable energy, electric vehicles, and the aviation industry, Saudi Arabia is prioritizing investment in aluminium.
Saudi Arabia is the largest economy in the Arab region and has invested more than $32 billion in the metals sector in its ongoing economic diversification plan, said Khaled Al-Mudaifer, Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia.
