A few days ago, the "Field Exchange meeting on the Promotion and Application of megawatt Superconducting Induction heating Technology and Devices" was held at Lianchuang Optoelectronic Superconducting Application Company. The reporter learned from the meeting that the superconducting induction heater will soon be put into use in the market. It is expected to bring the substitution effect of technological change to the whole aluminum processing industry and promote the gradual replacement of heating equipment in the whole industry.
The world's first megawatt high temperature superconducting induction heating equipment was developed by Lianchuang Optoelectronic Superconducting Application Co., Ltd., lasting six years, is a true "made in China", independent design and development, with independent intellectual property rights.
During the meeting, participants and representatives visited the superconducting site and watched the equipment demonstrate the whole process of heating aluminum round ingots in different sizes and different ways (uniform heating and gradient heating). And listened to the explanation of the principle of induction heating technology and the composition of the device, and the representatives affirmed the heating speed and temperature uniformity of the workpiece demonstrated on the spot.
Zhang Jilin, vice chairman and secretary general of China Nonferrous Metal processing Industry Association, fully affirmed the technology and equipment, hoping to contribute to energy saving, cost reduction and efficiency improvement in China's aluminum extrusion industry. Hu Changping, deputy secretary-general and director of the heavy metals department of the China Nonferrous Metals Association, also said that the application of the new type of superconducting induction heater is expected to help China's aluminum processing enterprises speed up the pace of transformation and upgrading. In the increasingly severe international competition in the aluminum industry to achieve "bend overtaking".
In addition, enterprise representatives also discussed the technology and device in depth, saying that in the field of large-size round ingots, no other heating device can achieve the same high efficiency, high heat penetration depth and energy-saving effect as the product.
Liu Lin, chief engineer of Yuefeng Aluminum Technology, said that the energy-saving benefits of the device are very obvious and will definitely be the focus of the market in the future. Jiangyin Xinyu Zhou Yuhuan deputy chief engineer said that compared with the industrial frequency furnace, the device has high heating temperature accuracy, uniform core surface heating, controllable and adjustable gradient heating effect, is very energy-saving, and the heating time meets the production requirements.
It is understood that bar heating is an energy-consuming process in aluminum extrusion, which generally accounts for 50% of the energy consumption of aluminum extrusion enterprises, and some are even as high as 80%. China's aluminum extrusion industry is in the process of transformation and upgrading from the production of building profiles to industrial profiles. In this process, a large number of backward production capacity should be eliminated and large extruders for industrial aluminum profiles should be added. This has created a once-in-a-lifetime application opportunity for superconducting induction heaters with outstanding energy-saving advantages and superior heating quality, and the market demand in the future is huge.
Wu Rui, chairman of the Provincial Electronics Group, said that a number of enterprises at the docking meeting are interested in trying the superconducting induction heating equipment on the aluminum extrusion production line under construction. They also put forward a lot of valuable suggestions for the matching operation of the equipment and the actual aluminum extrusion production line, and agreed with Lianchuang Superconductor on the follow-up docking arrangement.
"Lianchuang Superconductor will complete the production site investigation and design for the above enterprise users in October this year, and sign a trial contract with the customers. It is planned to complete the manufacture and delivery of 4-6 superconducting induction heaters of different specifications by the first quarter of 2020. After the superconducting induction heater is put into use, it is expected to bring the substitution effect of technological change to the whole aluminum processing industry and promote the gradual replacement of heating equipment in the whole industry. " Wu Rui said.
