Mexico issues final ruling on anti-dumping review of Chinese aluminum pressure cookers

On March 6, 2026, the Mexican Ministry of Economy issued a notice, making a positive final ruling on the sunset review of anti-dumping measures for aluminum pressure cookers with a capacity not exceeding 9 liters (Spanish: ollas de presión de aluminio) originating from China. It was decided to continue imposing an anti-dumping duty of 92.64% on the involved products. The measures will come into effect on December 27, 2024, with a validity period of five years. The TIGIE tariff code of the involved products is 7615.10.02.
On December 20, 2018, Mexico initiated an anti-dumping investigation into aluminum pressure cookers originating from China. On December 26, 2019, Mexico made a positive final ruling on this case, deciding to impose an anti-dumping duty of 92.64% on the涉案 products from China starting from the day after the announcement was made. On December 24, 2024, Mexico initiated a sunset review investigation on this case. The dumping investigation period for the case was from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024, and the injury investigation period was from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2024.
