Seven departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued guidance on accelerating the green development of the manufacturing industry. It is proposed to promote short-process technology in steel, petrochemicals, non-ferrous metals, textiles, machinery and other industries. We will improve the long-term market-oriented and legal-based mechanism to resolve excess production capacity, and promote the exit of backward production capacity in accordance with laws and regulations. By 2030, the recycling volume of major renewable resources will reach 510 million tons, the comprehensive utilization rate of bulk industrial solid waste will reach 62%, the proportion of renewable energy used in electrolytic aluminum will reach more than 30%, the proportion of short-process steelmaking will reach more than 20%, and the proportion of syngas Short-process synthesis technologies such as one-step production of olefins and ethanol have been applied on a large scale.
