South Korea has initiated an anti-dumping sunset review investigation into aluminum pre-coated photosensitive plates from China

On January 8, 2026, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance of South Korea issued Announcement No. 2026-2, stating that in response to South Korean manufacturers? ? (Reference English name: Cheil C&P Co., Ltd.) applied to initiate the second sunset review investigation of anti-dumping on Presensitized Aluminum plates for offset Printing originating from China. The dumping investigation period for this case is from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2025.
On September 8, 2016, South Korea initiated an anti-dumping investigation into aluminum pre-coated photosensitive plates originated from China. On September 7, 2017, South Korea officially imposed anti-dumping duties on the involved Chinese products for a period of three years (see Order No. 634 of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance of South Korea), valid until September 6, 2020, with the duty rate ranging from 5.86% to 10.21%. On May 4, 2020, South Korea initiated the first sunset review investigation into the case. On May 3, 2021, South Korea continued to impose anti-dumping duties on the involved Chinese products, adjusting the rates to 8.78% to 10.32%, effective from May 3, 2021, and valid for five years (see Order No. 852 of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance of South Korea). The South Korean tax code of the involved product is 3701.30.9100.
