Summary of Aluminum Industry Output in China in 2025

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in December 2025, China's alumina production was 801.1 million tons, an increase of 6.7% year-on-year; for the entire year of 2025, the cumulative production was 9244.6 million tons, an increase of 8.0% year-on-year.
In December, the output of electrolytic aluminum was 3.874 million tons, up by 3.0% year-on-year; for the entire period from January to December, the cumulative output was 45.016 million tons, up by 2.4% year-on-year.
In December, the output of aluminum alloy was 1.825 million tons, up by 13.7% year-on-year; for the entire period from January to December, the cumulative output was 19.297 million tons, up by 15.8% year-on-year.
In December, the aluminum production was 6.136 million tons, remaining unchanged year-on-year. From January to December, the cumulative production was 67.504 million tons, down 0.2% year-on-year.
