Summary of Aluminum Industry Output in China in April

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in April 2026, China's alumina output was 738.7 million tons, an increase of 2.9% year-on-year; the cumulative output for the first four months was 3003.1 million tons, an increase of 1.9% year-on-year.
In April, the output of electrolytic aluminum was 3.87 million tons, up by 3.1% year-on-year; for the first four months, the cumulative output was 15.325 million tons, up by 3.5% year-on-year.
In April, the output of aluminum alloy was 163.0 million tons, up by 5.2% year-on-year; for the first four months, the cumulative output was 603.9 million tons, up by 4.6% year-on-year.
In April, the aluminum production was 5.686 million tons, a decrease of 2.3% compared to the previous year; for the first four months, the cumulative production was 20.872 million tons, a decrease of 1.8% compared to the same period last year.
