The proposal of the Gansu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China on formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development was recently released, proposing to vigorously develop key industries such as petrochemicals and chemical engineering, non-ferrous metallurgy, new energy, new materials, equipment manufacturing, aerospace, digital information, and biomedicine.
We will promote the extension and supplementation of the industrial chain in the petrochemical and chemical industry, the high-end extension of the non-ferrous metallurgy industry, and the upgrading and capacity expansion of the equipment manufacturing industry. We will also drive the transformation of the coal chemical industry towards modernization, high-end development and diversification.
Accelerate the construction of the Hexi Corridor Economic Belt, develop and expand industrial clusters such as new energy, new materials, non-ferrous metallurgy, commercial aerospace, and low-altitude economy, create the Jiujiaxing Twin-City Economic Circle, and build the Hexi Corridor urban agglomeration.
