Yunnan's "15th Five-Year Plan" proposal: Promote the expansion of green aluminum into the fields of deep processing and terminal manufacturing

The proposal of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China on formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for the National Economic and Social Development of Yunnan Province was recently released, proposing to rely on science and technology to develop deep processing and consolidate and enhance the position of resource-based industries such as aluminum, silicon, phosphorus, non-ferrous metals and rare and precious metals in the national industrial chain and supply chain.
Promote the expansion of green aluminum into the fields of deep processing and terminal manufacturing, and accelerate the creation of a "green aluminum Valley".
Vigorously develop the deep processing of non-ferrous metals, promote the extension of rare and precious metals from materials to devices and equipment, and build a high-quality national advanced manufacturing cluster of rare and precious metals in central Yunnan.
We will advance a new round of strategic actions for breakthroughs in mineral exploration, and promote the exploration and development of important mineral resources as well as the increase in reserves and production. Improve the comprehensive utilization level of mineral resources and strengthen the overall planning of the development and utilization of strategic and advantageous minerals as a whole.
Strengthen the comprehensive utilization of recycled resources such as aluminium, copper and platinum group metals.
Promote the transformation and upgrading of the mining, metallurgy, chemical, building materials and light industry sectors.
