The EU has made a final ruling on anti-dumping measures against molten alumina from China.

On January 16, 2026, the European Commission issued a notice, making a positive final ruling on anti-dumping measures against fused alumina (Fused Alumina) originating from China. It determined that the anti-dumping duty for Chongqing Saite Corundum Co., Ltd. was 99.8%, for Luoyang Runbao Abrasives Co., Ltd. was 88.7%, for other cooperative enterprises was 94.5%, and for other enterprises was 110.6%. The EU CN (Combined Nomenclature) codes of the involved products were 2818 10 11, 2818 10 19, ex 2818 10 91, and 2818 10 99 (TARIC codes were 2818 10 91 20 and 2818 10 91 90). The investigation period for this case was from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024, and the damage investigation period was from January 1, 2021 to the end of the investigation period.
On November 21, 2024, the European Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation into molten alumina originating from China.
