Recently, Yufeng Aluminum Processing has achieved another significant success in technological innovation: Yufeng Aluminum Processing Co., Ltd. led the joint application of the project "Aluminum Alloy Preparation Technology and Application for High-End Equipment (Chip Equipment) in the Electronics Industry", which was jointly submitted by Beijing North Huachuang Microelectronics Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Ruisheng Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., and has won the third prize of the 2025 China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award.
It is known that the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award is a provincial and ministerial-level science and technology award jointly established by the China Nonferrous Metals Society and the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. It has been approved by the National Science and Technology Awards Work Office and is a social force award registered with the Ministry of Science and Technology. This award is the only national science and technology award in the nonferrous metals industry and represents the highest scientific and technological honor in the sector.
The project that won the award focuses on the demands of China's semiconductor manufacturing equipment sector and conducts technological research on key structural materials. The project team has carried out collaborative research on a series of core key technologies such as precise micro-alloying design, high-purity purification treatment of the melt, uniformity regulation of multi-scale structure, and precise control of residual stress. As a result, they successfully developed high-end aluminum alloy materials with comprehensive characteristics including high cleanliness, high uniformity, excellent anodic oxidation, and low residual internal stress. The overall performance of these materials has reached the leading level in China, and their key indicators are comparable to those of international advanced imported products, achieving a major breakthrough in the independent guarantee of high-end materials.
At present, the innovative achievements of this project have been applied on a large scale. The high-performance aluminum alloy materials produced by it have been successfully used in batches in key components of core equipment for semiconductor manufacturing, such as etching, film deposition, and ion implantation. With their outstanding stability, consistency and reliability, they have received high recognition from leading downstream equipment manufacturers, and the market feedback is positive.
