The Eurasian Economic Union has extended the validity period of the anti-dumping measures on aluminum strips involving China

On October 17, 2025, the Department of Internal Market Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2025/453/AD28R2, stating that in accordance with Resolution No. 95 of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated October 14, 2025, it was decided to subject aluminum strips originating from China and Azerbaijan (Russian: The validity period of the anti-dumping duty has been extended to June 29, 2026 (inclusive). Among them, the duty rate for Chinese products involved in the case is 13.14%, and for Azerbaijani products, it is 16.18%.
On May 7, 2019, the Eurasian Economic Union initiated an anti-dumping investigation into aluminum strips originating from China and Azerbaijan. On September 24, 2020, the Eurasian Economic Commission began to impose anti-dumping duties on aluminum strips originating from China and Azerbaijan for a period of five years. Among them, Chinese producer Nantong Hengjin Composite Material Co., Ltd. (Nantong hengjin composite material co., LTD.) and other Chinese producers accounted for 13.14%, and Azerbaijani producers involved accounted for 16.18%. The measures came into effect on October 24, 2020. Valid until October 23, 2025. On June 30, 2025, the Eurasian Economic Commission initiated the first sunset review of anti-dumping investigations on aluminum strips from China and Azerbaijan. The case involves products under tariff codes 7606 11 910 0, 7606 12 200 3, 7606 12 200 8, 7606 12 920 3 and 7606 12 920 8 of the Eurasian Economic Union.
