The national standards for aviation aluminum led by Yuefeng Aluminum Group will be implemented

Recently, the General Administration of Market Regulation and the National Standards Committee issued the National Standard Announcement No. 1 in 2024, issuing 406 national standards, of which 5 national standards for aluminum alloy are led by Yuefeng Aluminum Group member enterprises, and will be implemented from October 1.
Among the five newly released national standards, the "General Technical Specification for Aluminum Alloy forgings for Aviation" and the "General Technical Specification for Aluminum alloy tubes, rods, profiles and Wires for aviation" are newly formulated national standards, which are applicable to aviation aluminum alloy die forgings, free forgings and aviation aluminum alloy pipes, rods, profiles and wires, respectively. The general requirements such as size and surface of aviation materials and special requirements such as qualification identification and process control are standardized. The formulation of the two national standards is the need for the localization and international development of aviation materials, the release and implementation of the domestic aviation aluminum standards to fill the gap, to improve the quality of China's aviation aluminum, to break the monopoly of foreign high-end aluminum alloy materials, to achieve the independent control of China's high-end aluminum alloy materials, to help domestic large aircraft faster and better development has important practical significance.
"Deformation aluminum and aluminum alloy products tissue inspection method Part 1: microstructure inspection method" "Deformation aluminum and magnesium alloy products ultrasonic inspection method" "Aluminum alloy forging" were revised on the basis of the original national standards. The release and implementation of the new standard is conducive to further improving the overall product quality and technical level of China's aluminum alloy industry, promoting the promotion and application of new aluminum alloy products, and better serving the upgrading of domestic aluminum and aluminum alloy products and the needs of national key projects.
